Onboard Engineering offers a wide range of marine engineering and maintenance services. We can help you with anything from repowers, new installations and general marine maintenance, service and repairs, to fault and failure diagnosis and emergency after-hours breakdown services. We also offer comprehensive and worldwide pre-purchase survey inspections.
Based in the Sutherland Shire, we service both commercial and pleasure craft customers up and down the east coast of Australia.
Business History & Milestones
Established on 3 November 2008, OnBoard Engineering proudly celebrates 17 years of operation. Built on a foundation of experience, reliability and craftsmanship.
Our leadership team brings over 100 years of combined expertise to the marine industry, with Andrew, Damian, and Shannan each contributing more than 30 years of experience in marine engineering and vessel management.

Here at Onboard Engineering, we are authorised agents for CAT Marine, MAN Marine Engines, Twin Disc, Mercruiser, Yanmar, Seakeeper, Volvo Penta, Kohler Generators, ElectroSea and Garmin Marine electronics.
We employ qualified Marine Technicians, Shipwrights, and tradesmen who are factory-trained by Cummins and MTU/Detroit. All of the Onboard Engineering technicians have extensive experience with John Deere, Northern Lights, Arneson Drive, Seatorgue, Seakeeper Gyro Stabilisers and ZF transmission.
